I have experience with professional sets and their responsibilities. I was a production assistant for a Hulu short film and for a popular YouTuber’s music video. I also was an extra in three television shows, once for Netflix and twice for CBS. I took these jobs in my spare time to try something new. It started as a mission to get on Gilmore Girls. It’s my favorite television show of all time, and when Netflix announced a new season, I knew I had to try. After much research and many attempts (and a short Twitter campaign), I found myself in Stars Hollow. That was the start of my experience on professional sets, and since then I found myself on more and more.

Production Assistant

As part of the Huluween Film Fest, eight short films were created in 2018. I served as a production assistant on Haunted, Horrifying Sounds from Beyond the Grave. My responsibilities included prop management, assisting the production designer (in creating that very yellow room), and any transportation and scheduling needs.

In 2 Broke Girls (2016) I played “Random Patient.” In Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016) I played “Adult Skater.” In Strange Angel (2018) I played “Caltech Student” in two episodes. Though background work may not be my calling, I will forever canonically be a Stars Hollow resident, and that is something I am so proud of (and something I will never let my friends - or anyone - forget).
